Last day at Google
As many of you know, Nov. 2nd was my last day at Google after 3 1/2 amazing and fulfilling years. It was an amazing experience to watch the company grow from 1400 to 15,000, complete one of the most public IPO’s in history, and make a real impact on people’s lives. I had experiences and made friends that will last a lifetime.
As of tomorrow, I will be joining the Meetup.com management team to head up the monetization efforts. Meetup.com helps people find others who share their interest or cause, and form lasting, influential, local community groups that regularly meet face-to-face. I am very excited about the opportunity that Meetup.com has to make similar impacts on people’s lives by helping them self-organize and form communities that can better their lives.
